Madden 22 Out Now With Premium Editions, 10-Hour EA Play Trial Also Available

EA’s Madden NFL 22 releases on August 20, but you can actually start playing the American professional football game right now through an early access trial or by purchasing one of the game’s more expensive editions.

Madden NFL 22’s MVP Edition ($100) and its Dynasty Edition ($120) unlock three days early, beginning today, August 17.

Alternatively, you can still play the 10-hour Madden NFL 22 trial on EA Play if you’re a subscriber to that service or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate (which includes EA Play).

The Madden NFL EA Play trial began August 12, for subscribers–and only on console, apparently. That’s more than a week before the game officially launches. This is the full version of the game, but the one “catch” is that it’s only a 10-hour trial. As such, you’ll want to remember to close the game completely when you’re finished in a particular sitting so you get the most out of it.
